Runner Comments
2 Ranveer
Finished strongly to end up midfield last start at Mornington on a soft track when first up. Should fight out the finish.
3 Zourata
Faded to finish fifth last start at Kyneton on a soft track but three from four wins have been in the dry. Large claim helps but still hard to get enthused.
4 Manhattan Thunder
Came on to finish just behind midfield last start at Mornington on a soft track but two from three wins have been in the dry. Rates highly with Daniel Stackhouse retaining the ride. In the mix.
5 Jewel Bay
Finished a neck back from the leader last start at Caulfield Heath when resuming. Won't be far away in the run and Michael Dee a bonus. A good chance.
6 Lady Di Di
Winner at Cranbourne and placed once this prep. Placed last start at Mornington. All three wins have come in the dry. Should be winning.
7 Wondereach
Has struggled in both runs so far this campaign and ran four lengths back from the winner last start at Mornington on a soft track. Won two of three as a favourite but still not here.
8 Kiko
Let-up for 11 weeks and has disappointed in all six starts as a favourite. Likely to settle back in the field. Not the worst.
