ATHLERIC (AUS) - 5YO Gelding by Exceed And Excel (AUS) out of Ida (AUS)

James Cummings, Jockey - James McDonald, 58kgs, Barrier: 1

"His form is not reflecting his training, he's been going far better in the mornings than what we've seen in his two outings this preparation."

"I have observed in previous campaigns where he has improved third and fourth-up."

"I decided to accept and he's trained well again this week."

"It could be said his best form is the Sydney way."

"Nevertheless, he's trialled well, has a top jockey engaged and has every opportunity to run well after two unplaced runs this campaign."

ZAPATEO (AUS) - 5YO Mare by Brazen Beau (AUS) out of Jerezana (AUS)

James Cummings, Jockey - Ms Jamie Kah, 56.5kgs, Barrier: 3

"Last year she came to Adelaide off the back of that excellent win in the Sapphire (Stakes) at set weights and penalties."

"She was in excellent form having won the Birthday Card before that."

"This year, after being unlucky in this race last year, she comes straight to Adelaide after winning the Group 1 Galaxy."

"There's no doubt she was in the best part of the track on that occasion."

"She's a last start Group 1 winner, so she's in better form this year."

"But I would also observe that this is a terrific Sangster."

"There are some big names there and she's going to have to be at her best."

"She's ready to run very well after five weeks off and a couple of good lung-burners since the Galaxy."

PISCES (AUS) - 2YO Gelding by Frosted (USA) out of Pleiades (AUS)

James Cummings, Jockey - Zac Lloyd, 58kgs, Barrier: 3

"He has got something to offer."

"We resumed him as a gelding, he was a bit boisterous as a colt last time so we decided to concentrate on his racing career.

"He's had two trials to get ready, so I can see the horse running well."

"He's got talent, but he's just got to keep applying himself the right way."

"Zac Lloyd gets a nice opportunity from a good draw to get the best out of him."

"You've got to love the form of Pisces considering the horses he raced against last campaign."

"That's pretty good form to be taking into a late April, two-year-old race at this level."

BARBER (AUS) - 3YO Gelding by Fastnet Rock (AUS) out of Trim (AUS)

James Cummings, Jockey - Ms Rachel King, 54kgs, Barrier: 14

"We did well with Barber as a two-year-old, he didn't quite train on at three the way we would have liked."

"We did have him gelded, but I think this is a pretty difficult map for the horse.

"It's a tough enough race and we could look for another day."

"We want to have him ready for wherever we go first-up, but we are conscious this does look a bit hard with a particularly challenging map."

"Nevertheless, he has trained well and looks great."

RENOSU (AUS) - 3YO Gelding by Lonhro (AUS) out of Ghisoni (AUS)

James Cummings, Jockey - Zac Lloyd, 58.5kgs, Barrier: 11

"Renosu is a good sprinter."

"He does have a mixed record, but I think the race could work out well for the horse."

"He can put himself up on the pace, he likes to be freshened-up and we've done that."

"A nice win would elevate the horse back into Stakes company, which he's performed strongly at in the past."

"Don't worry too much about the draw because the horse has natural gate speed and can put himself into the race."

"Even though he has the tendency to allow horses to get to him, he's got a bit under the bonnet to find under pressure."

"If he's well looked after in the run he should have plenty to offer at the finish."

PANTELONE (AUS) - 3YO Gelding by Street Boss (USA) out of Colombina (AUS)

James Cummings, Jockey - Declan Bates, 57kgs, Barrier: 11

"It's a pretty tough race and it doesn't look like he has any more in his favour compared to when we scratched him last week."

"The horse is going well and you would hate to blow it on a race that's too hard from an impossible spot."

"He's probably another horse to give consideration to waiting for another day."
